JET3 (Portreath, Cornwall), 2002-05, Fujitransluscent substrate,
cast acrylic, digitally machined aluminum, 65" x 68" x 11", Edition #1 of 4

I came upon these images over a period of years, and I was paused by a momentary recognition of something other. But it is the blank spaces between the images which creates a tension and informs the space, making it more relevant to me than even the subject.

There is a significant point of development where a child recognizes the self in a mirror for the first time. Prior to that, the distinction of self was fractured and incomplete. Beginning and end are irrelevant. Is this me? I am all
of this.
